Comparative Anatomy, a syllabus of a course of lectures Q* TL ? J delivered at St. Thomas9s Hospital. By W. M. Ord, M. B., -Lond. m.r.c.p. London : J. & A. Churchill, 1871. This little volume is really an " introduction to comparative anatomy," it is a description of the structure of the various classes of the animal kingdom; the higher researches of comparative anatomy are hardly touched upon. As far as it goes, the syllabus is a most useful guide to a lecturer. We say advisedly to a lecturer; for to a student it would be a terrible ordeal
